We are proud to announce that the new Chester Cathedral gift shop is now open!

It was a great challenge to create this space for Chester Cathedral. The Cathedral is steeped in history, and the shape of the room itself meant standard fixtures were out of the question, so a lot of hard work went in to the entire project from start to finish.

Everything down to the sign graphics has been custom designed by bwd, while keeping in close contact with the wonderful staff at Chester Cathedral to be sure everything remained to their liking. We even managed to design the shop’s till point to their specifics so that we could incorporate their important historical wall hangings belonging to the Cathedral.

We had a fantastic day at the grand opening. The Lord Mayor unveiled the gift shop, which is now open fully to the public.

We are so happy with the outcome of all the hard work put in by bwd and JDL, and we cannot wait to get started on the next project!
