We really love Christmas. It’s the time of the year when we appreciate how fortunate we are.  We will enjoy the pleasure of opening presents from our family and friends on Christmas Day, however that’s not the case for everyone living here in the North West.  Some of the kids in our local area wake up to nothing at all on Christmas Day.  We didn’t think that was right and wanted to do something about it.  

We are really pleased to have signed up to Rock FM Cash for Kids Mission Christmas.

About Mission Christmas

There are 38,715 children living in poverty in Lancashire. This equates to one in five children in our region. It is estimated that there will be 902 children homeless in the North West on Christmas day. Your gifts can make a big difference. That is why bwd are happy to be helping out.  Please drop your unwrapped gifts off in our Studio in St Anne’s.  When you are out buying your own children gifts, why not buy an extra one?  It can be for a baby, toddler or teen and we will make sure they are dropped off.

That’s why Rock FM Cash for Kids, in partnership with Arnold Clark, have launched Mission Christmas. We’re asking you to buy just one extra present this year – a gift that we’ll give to a disadvantaged child to make their Christmas morning that little bit brighter. We’re looking for new and unwrapped gifts suitable for children and young people aged 0 to 18 years, and you can donate at one of our drop-off points.
If you’d prefer to give cash instead that’s great too! You can make your donation online, in person or over the phone.”

Help Us Make A Difference

Please visit our offices and drop off a gift suitable for children ages 0 to 18. You don’t need to wrap it, that will be done by the charity.  You can also donate cash via the following methods:
