New Year, New Approach

Hello and welcome to 2016 bwd friends. Hope you all had a great Christmas and New Year. It’s hard to believe we are already two weeks into 2016. Time flies when you are planning out the year, working on client deadlines and building a new team.

We pen this post today to share an insight into our exciting developments at Beverley Wood Design.

As you know our Creative Director Bev Wood has over 29 years of design experience. Working in central London during the heady days of the 1980’s, Bev designed mobile phones for Motorola, street furniture for J C Decaux and information desks for London Heathrow and Gatwick airports.

Moving away from product design Bev went into the retail interior sector and worked on the flagship Topshop store on Oxford Circus for the Arcadia Group, before being head-hunted to go in-house and set up a brand-focused design team. Fast-forward to 2008 when Bev set up Beverley Wood Design, in Lytham St Anne’s. bwd is now one of the leading Interior Architects Consultancies in the North West. In an eight year period, bwd have worked on 112 schemes; that’s about 14 a year and range from one-off space planning projects for SME’s to large scale refurbishments for Blue Chip companies.

This year we are going to be offering new bespoke stand-alone services. The first is our Design Advice Service. What we have noticed is that our clients need help with the briefing stage of their project and with our experience, sector knowledge and design expertise we can help with formulating the project requirements. Additionally, we are offering a Feasibility Study Service. Both options are an excellent way to flesh-out the design and cost parameters before investing in the creative stage. Feasibilities capture all stakeholder views and operational considerations as well as investigating potential planning solutions. If either of these services would benefit your business, why not call us to arrange to meet.

We think our two new services will be very popular addition and are priced competitively to minimise the client financial commitment but maximise the project outcomes.

If you are looking for a little design direction, guidance and development please get in touch. Happy New Year and looking forward to this year’s creative challenges.
