Blackpool Council Transport Projects Team support the bus and tram operators running within the boroughs of Blackpool and Fylde and into the surrounding area, including Fleetwood, Lytham St Annes, Poulton-le-Fylde and Cleveleys. Up to 17 million visitors per year enjoy Blackpool’s attractions so it is important that the town has good gateways and provides excellent transport links to/from the town to the wider Fylde boroughs.

Blackpool Council approached BWD to produce a number of ‘sketch-style’ artist impressions of the proposed new Tramway extensions as part of the new Talbot Gateway project. The visuals needed to show the impact of the new trams and tram stops from North Pier to the town’s main railway station.

BWD met with the client project lead to view the proposed locations. We then photographed the areas and developed loose sketch images to enable the client team to confirm they were happy with the locations and proposed views. BWD create many visual styles which can be tailored to meet our client’s requirements from loose sketch-style to photo-realistic images known as CGI’s (Computer Generated Images).
