Lingerie Shop Design

About client

The Lingerie Lounge is an independent lingerie retailer, based in Blackpool, offering customers the option to shop in their high street store or online.

Project

Lingerie Shop Refurbishment

Their existing shop in Blackpool was too small to accommodate their expansion plans. bwd were invited to design the interior of the new larger shop unit and deliver the shop fit.

What we delivered

The new shop unit had previously suffered fire damage to the ceiling so a lay-in-grid system was in place. bwd convinced the client to remove the grid and expose the original 1930’s style ceiling.  This decision enhanced the overall look and feel of the space and by painting the ceiling black, masking the fire damage, we were able to introduce stand-out feature lighting.  The client asked for three fitting rooms.  The space available for the fitting rooms would have meant very narrow rooms. bwd again convinced the client to have two larger rooms and provide larger mirrors.  The additional space in each now enables staff to help customers with bra fittings.

This design and build project was completed in under eight weeks.
