North Wales Housing Association is a social enterprise providing homes and delivering services to over 2,500 households across North Wales. They understand the importance of having a roof over your head and continually maintain, build and refurbish homes to achieve this in their region.

Llandudno Reception Refurbishment

The North Wales Housing Association briefed bwd to create the design, source a contractor and oversee the implementation of their head office reception in Llandudno.

The client highlighted key briefing requirements namely: selection of new soft furniture throughout, specification of new flooring, wall and ceiling treatments, the design of a new reception counter and self-serve counter, as well as ways to attractively present their new corporate signage and literature.

BWD designed, organised the manufacture and implementation of all elements for the reception space. We have created a reception area which is homely, approachable and enables services to be delivered efficiently. The entrance, on the long side of the oblong reception, was a challenge. However, we have managed to create approachable counter services with floor treatments to guide customers to the counter. We enlarged the consultation room, introduced a bespoke wall graphic and glass panel treatments to create a bright and light reception space.
