The recently renovated Worden Hall, located in the heart of Worden Park, Leyland in Lancashire, is the perfect wedding venue. Worden Hall offers The Barn function room, a courtyard atrium and now a bespoke-designed bar catering for weddings and other functions.
BWD were approached by South Ribble Borough Council to tender to provide a bar facility to complement the recently renovated Barn function room and courtyard areas. The creative work additionally involved liaising with suppliers to obtain costs as well as to oversee the construction and installation of the bar.
The bar has been tastefully designed to tie in with the colours and finishes of the rest of the development. To avoid lifting the newly laid terrazzo floor tiles, we have built the bar on top and used the arched window areas for additional drinks displays. To complement the bar, we have created a bespoke-designed banquette seating area, coffee tables, which pick up the fretwork detail of the bar front and poseur tables and stools to offer additional seating for wedding goers.
