Creative Endings

Like most people we are sick of hearing how damaging the coronavirus is to business.  There is no doubt it has impacted pretty much all industries, however, there are moments that bring back faith in the sector we work in – the Creative sector.

We have all certainly been piling on the pounds during lock down as we confined to home/working.  When we are not doing crazy hours online, we are chilling out watching box sets or catching up on those programmes we have not watched for a while.

Me and my hubby Colin are huge fans of the Blacklist series on Sky. We were super excited to watch the next episode of Series 7.  We were up to episode 19.  This was not supposed to be the final one, however, the ability to finalise the series – like all things has been affected by the pandemic.

So how do you end a series when you cannot film the actual cast?

Creative animators to the rescue!

For the first time ever, the Blacklist features animated sequences in place of live-actions scenes.

It was a bit strange to get your head around watching scenes flip between live action and comic book style sequences.  That said, it was simply brilliant and so creative too.  I was so impressed that we paused the TV and I started taking photographs of the show….not that hubby was impressed!
