You will have no doubt noticed the latest viral craze that has been sweeping Facebook and other social channels #IceBucketChallenge. If you haven’t been nominated yet, you are one of the lucky ones! Our lovely friend, and Pink Link Ladies founder, Coral Horn decided to take on 600 gallons of ice cold water. She wasn’t alone in her challenge and roped us in!

Our very own Bev and Fiona Reid of Ascroft Whiteside solicitors in Blackpool were called upon to take part in the challenge which took place on Sunday 31st August at the Sandcastle Water Park in Blackpool, in aid of Breast Cancer Care UK.

I”ve been nominated for the #icebucketchallenge and I plan to do something a bit different. With the support of Sandcastle Waterpark Blackpool, my ice bucket will actually be the giant coconut tipper” Coral Horn on the Just Giving website.

Despite the embarrassment our efforts have helped raise money for Breast Cancer Care UK.  Our local Blackpool Gazette covered the event on the day and the challenge was given a full page spread.  Bev said “thank you Coral for nominating me, although it was cold it was brilliant fun”.
