MD Mathew Haslam, and his team at Hardscape invited us to design their showroom. The aim being to create a space to showcase their vast product range, as well as accommodating their CAD team and facilities for customers.  Hardscape asked for a welcoming and inspirational space to promote their paving products to architects and designers.  The showroom space would need to enable their customers to get a full overview of their extensive product ranges as well as Hardscape’s ability to offer bespoke solutions.

We produced optional showroom layouts, three-dimensional visuals as well as all of the working drawings for bespoke display units.  We sourced and provided a full specification schedule for all of the loose furniture items.  As a dealer to one of the largest office furniture manufacturers in the North West, we ordered all of the loose furniture for them too; passing on our generous dealer discounts to our client.

Our client loves our bespoke display units.  They enable Hardscape to display smaller pieces of stone samples and store additional ones.  The stone pieces are showcased in a simple aluminium frame system and additional pieces are stored in drawers, lined with foam cut-outs, to keep them in place. The units have the capacity to hold over 1000 sample pieces. Our joiners, Paul Case Furniture pulled out all the stops on manufacturing our units for us.  The client only wanted two in the beginning, but after seeing them has ordered another four!

For Hardscape, we supplied the office and showroom desks and chairs, as well as furniture for the reception and break-out areas. The central desk in the showroom has a mechanical height adjustment feature, so can be used while sitting or standing.  Perfect for those of you who are short or tall!
